The Brand

With a Borrowed-from-the-Boys Attitude...

The DC based brand, Amanda Casarez, established in 2015, continues to make its mark with its brand signature of street chic with contemporary polish, and unexpected color and texture combinations. This women's advanced-contemporary line is composed of statement making pieces and everyday essentials for head-to-toe-dressing, making it perfect for our everyday muse, the bold and unapologetic woman of today.

A little too Cool... And a little too Confident...

The brand's design philosophy is based on the duality of hard lines and feminine details, and a linear design aesthetic, with a focus on texture, structure, and color.

Classic cool… With tomboyish flare...

Meet the Latina designer behind the brand, Amanda Casarez, a Cali girl now calling the East coast home. With a BS from the University of Hawaii in Fashion Design, and a BS in Bio from CSU Stanislaus... she views the world in a very different light, and creates fashion with a very diverse point of view!

Alumna of the inaugural class for the DC Fashion Incubator at Macy’s at Metro Center (DCFI), she established her DC based brand as designer-in-residence. With continued involvement with DCFI and in partnership with Macy's and the Red Heart Association, she dressed Veronica Webb for the Red Dress Collection in NYFW.

Casarez presents two lines per year, and has shown in DC, PHXFW, KCFW, OFW, and was a finalist for Lexus CFW emerging designer of the year.

She looks for inspiration in all that surrounds her, or has strong impact in her life, and bases her designs on her own personal dress code; clothes that are clean, modern, and high quality.

"I am my own muse. I am the subject I know best. The subject I want to better."
